ARMENIAN ATOMIC POWER STATION WILL RESUME ELECTRICAL ENERGY SUPPLY TO THE COUNTRY’S POWER GRID

Electricity being generated by the Armenian atomic power station will again be supplied to the electric grid of the country beginning from November 5. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, this will become possible due to new nuclear oil supply for refueling the station. (Its operation was stopped on June 10, 2001 for carrying out planned-preventive works.) Let us remind that the Government of Armenia had given the station a budgetary credit of 4 million dollars. Let us note that the Armenian nuclear power plant supplies the electric grid of the country with approximately 40% of the electric power generated in Armenia.
