ALAVERDI COOPER MINES WILL BE EXPLOITED BY THE SWISS

After the tender held, the right to use the cooper mines of Alaverdi town is given to “Manex Vallex” Swiss Company. The works on re-activation of the mines are already in progress. The management of the copper-smelting plant of “Manes Vallex” Company committed itself to raise the capacity of the plant up to 30 thousand tons of cooper a year before 2004.
