“ARMENTEL” MANAGEMENT IS NOT GOING TO REDUCE TARIFFS FOR CITY CALLS

Within the next few days “ArmenTel” will lower tariffs for cellular communication and Internet. Executive director of the company Nikos Georgulas stated it at the press conference held today. Yesterday he returned to Yerevan from Athens where he was consulting with the management of “OTE” firm, which holds 90 % of “ArmenTel” shares. Introduction of payment by minute for using city phones, as he said, “is not an expression of egoism but a step towards the future”. Georgulas maintains “ArmenTel” new tariff policy will allow modernizing the telecommunication market. He says the management of the company is not going to turn down the decision on introduction of payment by minute and is not going to reduce tariffs for city phone calls. He emphasized that due to introduction of payment by minute, tariffs for using intercity.
