MAYOR OF YEREVAN DOES NOT OBJECT TO KORRIDA

Mayor of Yerevan Robert Nazarian stated today that he did not share the apprehension concerning holding corrida in the city. The head of the city administration did not understand the sense of hullabaloo concerning the intention of a joint Armenian-Spanish enterprise to arrange an action, which is presenting the culture of the Spanish people. Let us remind that the Armenian Apostolic Church has lately come out with a statement that it “does not support entertainment arrangements presenting bloody scenes and contradicting to norms of Christian morality”. In Robert Nazarian’s words, the leadership of “Valencia” firm assured that there would be no bloodshed during the action.
