ARMENIAN PRESIDENT INVITED TO PAY AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO BRAZIL

President of Brazil Enrike Kardozo has invited President of Armenia Robert Kocharian to pay an official visit to his county. Head of the Brazilian delegation, which is in Yerevan at present, Varuzhan Burmayan handed the invitation to the President. The guest and Robert Kocharian discussed the prospects of further cooperation between Armenia and Brazil. In Burmayan’s words, partnership in such areas as services and tourism will be the most productive. The head of the Brazilian delegation reported that to develop economic dialogue between Armenia and the countries of Latin America, business forums dedicated to Armenia were planned to be held in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. In course of the meeting the question of opening Brazilian Embassy in Armenia was also considered.
