Elections of the head of Administration of Yerevan’s Shengavit municipal district will be held on the 5-th of August. Two persons pretend to the post – Chief of the regional police department Martin Sargsian, who is in Republican Party, and Romik Mkhitarian, who is put forward by “Republic” Party. Earlier four candidates have submitted applications for participation in the elections. But non-party Avetis Grigorian and member of People’s Party Ashot Manaserian withdrew their candidacies afterwards.
