Vice-President of the World Bank on Europe and Central Asia Iohannes Lynn and regional director of the WB on the countries of South Caucasus Judy O’Konnor, who arrived yesterday in Yerevan, will meet today President Robert Kotcharyan, Prime-Minister Andranik Markaryan, Minister of Finance and Economics Vardan Khachatryan. At the meeting with journalists, I. Lynn has pointed out that due to the productive cooperation of the World Bank and Armenia Government, all the programs have been implemented successfully and the World Bank is ready to continue to lend assistance. Speaking about his visit to Georgia and Azerbaijan, I. Lynn has pointed out the energy and agriculture fields are strategically important for the region and the South Caucasus country development perspectives depend on the cooperation in those fields.
