Casualties in the Armenian army are alarming, RA Ombudsman said.
“The Office of the Ombudsman is investigating the psychological reasons behind the incidents. The results of the research will be submitted to the Ministry of Defense,” Armen Harutyunyan told journalists on October 8.
Nevertheless, he noted that the number of tragic incidents in the Georgian army is greater than that in Armenia.
“We should put an end to such negative phenomena. Army is a part of the society and suffers from same diseases as the population. We should firsts of all cure the public,” Harutyunyan said.
