The Armenian government has approved the concept on rehabilitation of Gyumri industrial park.
With respect to it, the Economic Development Fund of Gyumri announced a competition for business ideas in engineering and information technologies. The ideas should be implemented in Gyumri and aimed at its economic development, the press service of the RA Ministry of Finance reported.
Applications are accepted by the Ministry until November 12, while the competition results will be known on November 25.
Based on the selection results, the Economic Development Fund of Gyumri will establish a new enterprise with the competition winner, while the funds invested for participation in the authorized capital will be used to finance top priority events. The program on state assistance to Gyumri industrial park’s activity was approved by the government on April 2009. The state allocated AMD 200mln in 2010 for Gyumri industrial partk’s establishment.
