Today the Baku newspaper “Ekho” published the interview with general Uzeir Jafarov, the head of the information and public relation department of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense, where he commented the NK President Arkadii Ghukasyan’s recent statement that in the case of the military operation renewal, Azerbaijan will lose new territories. “Azerbaijan would like the beginning of military operations. In that case Gukasyan will necessarily find his place where he will find eternal peace,” stated the Azerbaijani high-ranking military man. Jafarov claims that ” he expresses the opinion of many thousands of Azerbaijan military force rank, that are waiting for the day, when it could be carried out the pointed orders”.
Speaking about the fighting spirit and the experience of the Azerbaijani soldiers the general stated: ” The Azerbaijani soldiers do their duty even in far Kosovo and I have not heard that the Armenian soldiers were there”. Commenting on the aggressive statements of the main propagandist of the Military Department, “Ekho” newspaper pointed out ” if before the opposition circles spoke about the military building activation necessity, now the official representatives of the power and even force structures do that. According to the commentators of this edition ” the force way of the Azerbaijan integrity reestablishment seemed the only way to normalize the situation in South Caucasus seriously and for long.
