Georgios Papardreu, the head of the department of the Greece external-political affairs has stated that at the meeting with Ismail Jem, the minister of foreign affairs of Turkey. “We realize that this is not a simple problem and there are powers that will prevent Turkey joining Eurounion. Ismail Jem in his turn has stated that, although there are a few problems in the Ankara and Athens relations all of them could be solved during negotiations.
