. John Paul second intends to visit Lvov Armenian Church during his visit to Ukraine, which will be 25-27 June. The Vatican representatives have addressed the government of the western- Ukrainian city with the request to bring in the changes in the Pontific visit program. There was the visit of the catholic and orthodox churches in the earlier planned program. The head of the Roman Catholic Church considered that during his visit he has no right to ignore the confession representatives, who celebrate the 1700 anniversary of the Christianity adoption.
The Lvov Armenian Church was built in 1364. Until recently here was the Ukraine National museum store. At the beginning of this year a part of the church premises was passed to the Armenian community.
