GERMAN “GREENS” SUGGEST TO RECOGNIZE THE NORTH CYPRUS REPUBLIC

. Berlin regional department of the “Greens” has come out with an initiative to discuss in Bundestag the issue of recognition of the self-declared Republic of North Cyprus. By establishing official relations with the puppet regime of Rauf Denktash, the “Greens” hope to contribute to the process of peaceful settlement of the Greek-Turkish conflict on Cyprus. “Hyuriet” newspaper, which is being published in Ankara, informs that the initiative of the Party is the outcome of the efforts of Land Parliament deputy – Turk by origin – Ozjan Mutlu, who is and active leader of the Party of “Greens”.
