Employee of Byurakan Observatory Parandzem Sinamyan awarded with ArAS Annual Prize

Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory hosted annual awarding ceremony of ArAS Annual Prize for Young Astronomers established by one the Armenian Astronomical Society (ArAS) Co-Presidents Prof. Yervant Terzian.

The prize was awarded to young scientist Parandzem Sinamyan for scientific results, ArAS told PanARMENIAN.Net.

The prize is being awarded to a young scientist under 35 working in astronomy or related field and showing significant results in research and/or other scientific activities connected anyhow with the Armenian astronomy.

From 2004 to 2010, eight young scientists were awarded with the prize.

Winners also receive a monetary prize at the amount of $250.
