Deputy Director of Quant college Masis Sargsyan said that Logo software package is a modern universal computer environment, which has a wide geographic, animation and program opportunities.
“The package is designed for teaching informatics and other subjects (mathematics, geography, physics, chemistry, etc),” Sargsyan told a press conference on December 17.
He added that in such an environment a student can write, draw, create a cartoon by his own script, as well as compose music.
The first stage of works on environment localization has been completed through the efforts of the RA Ministry of Science and Education, as well as Quant college.
In May 2010 the RA government made a decision on introduction of Logo modern universal software in the educational field. Under the decision, Logo environment is envisaged to be purchased and localized within four years.
