YEREVAN, June 1. /Mediamax/. Armenia has officially addressed its joining the Russia-Iran-India (North-South) transport corridor.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Armen Martirosian told this today in his interview to the Azg paper. He was participating in the “Caspian Sea-from politics to business” forum held in Astrakhan. Martirosian stressed that Armenia’s joining this corridor will allow to develop the export capacities of the country.
Martirosian noted that the first cargo transportation from Armenia to the Enzeli Iranian port and farther to Astrakhan had already been realized. –0–
