YEREVAN, June 1. /Mediamax/. Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Armen Martirosian said that the doubts of Armenia about the successful implementation of Baku-Jeyhan pipeline construction project had strengthened after the “Caspian Sea – from politics to business” forum held in Astrakhan.
Having participated in the forum, Martirosian said today in his interview to Azg paper that Iran’s representatives had said in Astrakhan that Teheran would never allow the construction of pipeline’s underwater part explaining it by seismical and ecological security issues. According to the Armenian diplomat, the approach of the Russian side was the same. –0–
