RUSSIAN, AZERBAIJANI, ARMENIAN AND GEORGIAN PRESIDENTS SUPPORTED IDEA OF HOLDING MEETINGS OF PARLIAMENTARIANS

YEREVAN, June 1. /Mediamax/. Presidents of Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia supported the idea of holding meetings of parliamentarians of their countries.
Mediamax was informed today in the press service of Armenian President that this was told in the statement of Putin, Aliyev, Kocharian and Shevarnadze signed Thursday in Minsk following the meeting of “Caucasian four”.
The statement notes that “such meetings are aimed at the improvement of political climate of the region and creation of favorable preconditions for solution of most difficult problems”.
The Presidents have agreed to hold their next meeting by the end of this year. –0–
