V.OSKANIAN STRESSED THE IMPORTANCE OF STATEMENT TO BE ADOPTED TODAY BY LEADERS OF CST MEMBER-COUNTRIES

YEREVAN, May 25. /Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian stressed today the importance of the Statement to be adopted following the summit by the leaders of member-countries of Collective Security Treaty (CST).
Mediamax’s correspondent informs that Oskanian has said this today at the session of the Foreign and Defense Ministers and Secretaries of Security Councils of CST member-countries.
According to the Armenian Minister, the statement comes once again to confirm the position of the CST member-countries on issues of the fighting against international terrorism and religious extremism, as well as on provision of security and stability in the CST zones.
Oskanian also said that documents on military assistance to the CST member-countries undergone a military attack will be adopted during the Yerevan summit.
Armenian FM stated that a new stage of CST is starting when the collective security will be fulfilled through creation of joint forces. The potential threats, according to Vardan Oskanian, are the international terrorism and religious extremism. –0–
