MILITARY LEADER OF PAKISTAN INVITED TO VISIT AZERBAIJAN

YEREVAN, May 24. /Mediamax/. Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Safar Abiyev who was on an official visit to Pakistan delivered Chief Executive Gen Pervez Musharraf a letter from the Azerbaijan president extending an invitation to the chief executive to visit Azerbaijan.
Mediamax informes quoting the Dawn Daily Azerbaijani paper that the chief executive while accepting the invitation, also invited the president of Azerbaijan to visit Pakistan in the near future. He expressed the hope that defense minister’s visit to Pakistan would lead to enhanced co-operation between the two countries in the defense and economic fields. –0–
