YEREVAN, May 23. /Mediamax/. Secretary General of the Council of Collective Security (CCS) Valerie Nikolayenko said today at a Yerevan briefing that in case if there is a military threat against one of the member-states of the Collective Security Agreement (CSA) on the part of other CIS states which are not CSA members, the use of force should not be excluded.
At the same time, Nikolayenko stressed priority for CSA is to settle conflicts in peace ways.
The Caucasian direction is the most advanced in the common CSA system, Nikolayenko said. He noted that “these forces are formed on the basis of Armenian-Russian agreements and are rather actively developing. –0–
