YEREVAN, May 22. /Mediamax/. The Head of the Central Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia, Hovhannes Yeritsian told today Mediamax that he couldn’t name the versions of crash of the Yak-40 plane before conclusion of the investigation.
The Yak-40, which belonged to the Armenian Airlines and was leased by one of the Iranian air companies, crashed in the morning of May 17th. All the passengers died, including the Transport Minister of Iran Rahman Dadmani and the 5 crew members (all Armenians).
Yeritsian noted that the Armenian airpark is in satisfactory condition. “In case of a suspicion on disrepair, the plane is not allowed for flight,” he stressed. –0–
