ARMENIA IS READY TO RESTORE RAILWAY COMMUNICATION WITH TURKEY

YEREVAN, May 21. /Mediamax/. Armenia is ready to reconstruct the Armenian sector of the railway connecting it with Turkey.
RIA Novosti informs that Shirak’s governor Felix Pirumian said this to the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs. He said that a month would be enough finish the technical works on the railway.
The American co-chair of the OSCE Minsk group Carey Cavanaugh noted that the Turkish authorities also welcomed the decision to restore the railway, but the restart of its works was hindered by the unsettled Karabakh conflict. He stressed that the settlement of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia would further the development of Armenian-Turkish cooperation. –0–
