HEAD OF COMMUNIST PARTY FACTION SHARPLY CRITICIZED HEAD OF PARLIAMENTARY COMMISSION FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS

YEREVAN, May 15. /Mediamax/. Head of the parliamentary faction of the Communist Party of Armenia (CPA) Norayr Petrosian sharply criticized today in the interview to Mediamax the statement about “failure of Russia-Belarus Union”, made today by the chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission for foreign affairs, Hovanes Hovanesian.
Petrosian said such statements of the persons, dealing with foreign political activity, attest to the “destructive policy methods, realized by the authorities of Armenia”.
“The fact of Armenia’s accession to the Council of Europe and fulfillment of its commitments leads to the restriction of the independence of the country. The demands of the great powers will bring Armenia to total isolation”, chairman of CPA faction stated.
