YEREVAN, May 16. /Mediamax/. The second “Armenia-Diaspora” forum, which was planned on 19-20 September 2001 in Yerevan, will take place in 2002, Mediamax was told in the commission for preparation of the forum.
The commission noted that the forum date transfer is caused by the fact that “the year 2001 is saturated with a number of important events”. Among those, the commission named the festivities within the frames of the celebration of the 1700th anniversary of adoption of Christianity as state religion, the celebration of the 10th anniversary of declaration of independence of Armenia, the second PanArmenian games, planned this calendar August.
The precise date the second “Armenia-Diaspora” forum will take place will be additionally announced, the commission noted. –0–
