2ND SEMINAR OF THE OSCE ON HUMAN RIGHTS MONITORING TO BEGIN TODAY IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN, May 16. /Mediamax/. The second part of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) training program on human rights monitoring and reporting for NGOs in Armenia will be held in Yerevan on May 16-20. The training is conducted by experts from the Polish Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights.
As Mediamax was told today in the OSCE Yerevan Office, the first session of the training was held in March this year and focused on the theoretical and practical aspects of human rights monitoring and reporting. 16 NGO representatives from throughout Armenia took part.
The main objective of the second part of the training is to review and analyze the work performed by the participants in between the sessions, to discuss the main obstacles encountered in the monitoring process, and to find solutions to the existing problems.
