ARMENIAN FM IS SATISFIED WITH RESULTS OF THE MEETING WITH DEPUTIES

YEREVAN, May 15. /Mediamax/. The enlarged meeting of the permanent commission of the National Assembly of Armenia for foreign affairs took place today, at which Foreign Minister of Armenia Vardan Oskanian introduced the latest developments in the Karabakh peace process.
As Mediamax learned from informed sources, during the meeting the statements of the Armenian Foreign Minister he made in the recent TV interview, arousing negative reaction of a number of political forces of the country, were mainly discussed. According to the sources, Minister Oskanian preferred not to reply to most of the questions of the deputies, referring to the confidentiality of the negotiation process.
Upon the end of the meeting of the committee, the head of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, not disclosing any details of today’s discussion, expressed satisfaction with the results to the journalists. Speaker of the National Assembly Armen Khachatrian also holds to the same opinion. According to him, the settlement of the dispute over Nagorno Karabakh demands sober and common approaches from the leadership of the country.
