YEREVAN, May 15. /Mediamax/. Communist Party of Armenia (CPA) will organize a rally Wednesday dedicated to the “issue of joining of Armenia to Russia-Belarus Union,” CPA First Secretary Vladimir Darbinian informed today at a press conference in Yerevan.
According to him, it will be suggested to put this issue on the agenda of the Armenian Government. The CPA leader also said this issue would be discussed in Armenian National Assembly in near future.
Darbinian noted that the rally was to be held last year, but it was necessary to carry on serious negotiations with the Russian party for the final statement of the question.
“During the negotiations with Russian communists and representatives of other political forces of Russia we made sure that they unanimously support the CPA position,” Darbinian said.
