YEREVAN, May 15. /Mediamax/. Reunification of Nagorno Karabakh with Armenia is of a strategic value for Dashnaktsutiun.
Mediamax was informed today in the press service of Dashnaktsutiun that this was stated at a conference on Karabakh settlement held on May 11-12 in Yerevan on the initiative of Dashnaktsutiun Bureau. Members of Bureau and Supreme body of Dashnaktsutiun in Armenia and of the Central Committee of the party in Nagorno Karabakh, members of Dashnaktsutiun factions in Armenian and NKR National Assemblies participated in the conference.
The conference participants declared that the Karabakh settlement had to provide the reunification of Nagorno Karabakh with Armenia or the independence of NKR guaranteeing the defensive capacity of Armenia and Karabakh. After mediators make a new proposal on Karabakh settlement, the Armenian President will have to discuss it with political forces in order that a common position is drawn up, the participants of the conference stressed. –0–
