YEREVAN, May 14. /Mediamax/. The International Center of Human Development (ICHD) in cooperation with “Open Society” Institute will hold a regional Think-Tank meeting on May 15-16th in Yerevan on “How to Organize In-Depth Public Policy Research about Regional Economic Integration in the South Caucasus”.
As Mediamax was told today in ICHD, problems impeding the economic cooperation of South Caucasian states, the ways of their possible solution, issues of economic development of the countries of the region will be discussed at the seminar. The first meeting within the framework of the program, aimed at the organization of special working groups including Armenian, Georgian and Azerbaijani experts, took place in March 2001 in Baku.
Leading Think-Tanks of Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Poland, Russia and Ukraine are involved in the realization of the program.
The International Center of Human Development (ICHD) is an Armenian NGO. The trustee council of ICHD is headed by the ex Premier of Armenia, Armen Darbinian.
