THE ATTEMPTS OF AZERBAIJAN TO DISTORT THE SITUATION WITH WAR PRISONERS RUN ACROSS SERIOUS OPPOSITION

YEREVAN, May 11. /Mediamax/. The attempts of the Azerbaijani side to misinform the international community regarding the situation with war prisoners and captives ran across a serious opposition, Mediamax was told today in the Foreign Ministry of NKR.
They noted that on May 10th, the head of Red Cross International Committee (RCIC) Office in Azerbaijan, F. Meder absolutely denied the information, cited by the Azerbaijani delegation at the spring session of PACE quoting international organizations, including the report of RCIC. Declaring that the RCIC never presented any data and that the mentioned report doesn’t exist as such, Mrs. Meder said the organization she represents will turn in this connection to the Council of Europe. –0–
