YEREVAN, May 11. /Mediamax/. “Dashnaktsutiun” is against the statements of the Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian,” one of the leaders of this party, Deputy Chairman of parliament commission on foreign relations Armen Rustamian says in an interview to “Haykakan Zhamanak”.
Speaking by the “A1+” TV company on May 9, Vardan Oskanian has used the term “occupied” about the territories controlled by the Nagorno Karabakh defence army.
“Dashnaktsutiun” considers those territories liberated, for us the term “occupied” does not exist,” Rustamian said.
He also expressed his disagreement with the fact that the Armenian FM has drawn parallels between the Lachin and Meghri corridors. “Those are different problems. Nakhichevan has an exclave position, while Nagorno Karabakh is an enclave. We consider drawing such parallels wrong and short sighted,” Rustamian noted. –0–
