ARMENIAN FM TO SIGN 6 DOCUMENTS AT THE MEETING OF CoE MINISTERIAL COMMITTEE

YEREVAN, May 10. /Mediamax/. Foreign Minister of Armenia Vardan Oskanian, who left today for the meeting of the Ministerial Committee of the Council of Europe (CoE), will sign 6 documents in Strasbourg within the frames of Armenia’s fulfillment of commitments, taken when joining the CoE.
As Mediamax was told today in the press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry, V. Oskanian will specifically sign the Convention about torture prevention, Charter about languages of national minorities, Charter on local self-government, Convention on legal assistance in criminal affairs, Convention on “washing away” of criminal money, Convention on extradition.
It’s the first time Armenia will participate in the meeting CoE Ministerial Committee after its accession to this European organization in January 2001. –0–
