NEW ARMENIAN PARTY TO HOLD ITS CONSTITUENT CONGRESS

YEREVAN, May 10. /Mediamax/. On May 19th the constituent congress of the new political party called “Union of National-Democrats” (UND) will start, one of the initiators of the UND, parliament deputy Arshak Sadoian said at a briefing today.
A former member of parliament faction of the National Democratic Union (NDU), Sadoian noted that the new party had not been officially registered in the Justice Ministry yet. More than 100 delegates will take part in the congress. Sadoian noted that creation of the UND was a result of a split in the NDU in the beginning of the year.
“Union of National-Democrats claims to a role of a serious party, based on principals of true national democracy,” Arshak Sadoian said. –0–
