AZERBAIJAN MAKES GROSS FALSIFICATIONS, STATEMENT OF NKR FOREIGN MINISTRY SAYS

YEREVAN, May 2. /Mediamax/. “Ministry of Foreign Affairs of NKR draws the attention of international organizations on the necessity to suppress any effort of Azerbaijan to misinform the international structures”. This is said in the statement of NKR Foreign Ministry spread today as a response to the actions of the Azerbaijani delegation at the spring session of the Parliament Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE).
The statement says that at the PACE session, not satisfied by its usual falsification of history of Armenia and HKR, the Azerbaijani delegation has spread information about Azerbaijani war prisoners and hostages, about the so-called genocide of Azerbaijani people by Armenians, about using the NKR territory for transfer of drugs, etc.
These methods, according to the NKR Foreign Ministry, “are not only violating the norms of international ethics, but are also gross falsification”.
“We are obliged to remind that Azerbaijan has entered the Council of Europe under series of conditions, which stipulate demonstration of good will for maintaining peace and stability in the region. But the actions of Azerbaijani authorities prove that they are either not ready or do not want to be the member of European family,” the statement of NKR Foreign Ministry says. –0–
