V. TRUBNIKOV AND FRENCH AMBASSADOR DISCUSSED QUESTIONS OF PREPARATION FOR THE NEW ROUND OF TALKS ON KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT

YEREVAN, April 30. /Mediamax/. First deputy foreign minister of Russia, Vyacheslav Trubnikov and the French Ambassador in Moscow Claude Blanchmesone discussed questions of preparation of the new round of talks on Karabakh conflict settlement, planned this calendar June in Geneva.
As the Information and press department of Russian Foreign Ministry informs, during the meeting, special importance was attached to the present condition and perspectives of settlement of the dispute over Nagorno Karabakh. Expressing satisfaction with the high level of partnership interaction, established between Moscow and Paris within the frameworks of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship, the sides confirmed the readiness to keep on closely coordinating their actions in the interests of the soonest political conclusion of the Karabakh issue, the return of peace and stability in the region, Russian Foreign Ministry stressed. –0–
