YEREVAN, April 27. /Mediamax/. Leaders of all the factions and deputy groups represented in the Armenian Parliament have made a special statement today on Karabakh conflict. It says: “Hasty steps and decisions adopted under a pressure will never further establishment of a long-term peace in the region.”
“We appreciate the high authority of the Minsk group co-chairing countries and their coordinated activity directed on settlement of Karabakh conflict”, the stament says.
The statement also says that “We stand for harmonious development of the region, opening of all the transport communications and cooperation of the three Southern Caucasus countries.”
The statement is signed by the leaders of following factions: “National-Democratic Union”, “National Unity”, Peoples, Republican and Communist parties, “Dashnaktsutiun”, “Orinats Yerkir”, “Constitutional Right” union and by chairmen of “Stability”, “Public Deputy” and “Hayastan” deputy groups. –0–
