The authors of AYO, one of the 3 songs contesting for the right to be presented at Eurovision 2011, commented on the results of SMS voting for the song contest.
“We weren’t sure that our song will be the voting winner. We’ve accepted the voting results and don’t intend to take any steps to annul them. It was the people’s choice and they made it,” Hasmik Mkhitaryan, the assistant of the songwriter Harut Ter-Hovakimyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
Some fans of Eurovision 2011 in Armenia disagree with the selection of song Boom-Boom to be performed by Armenian singer Emmy at the song contest. As they note, the selection was illogical. According to the results of SMS votings posted on the web, the song AYO was the one to be given priority.
