AZERI MP’S TO RAISE THE QUESTION OF KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT AT PACE SESSION

YEREVAN, March 30. /Mediamax/. The Azeri side is actively preparing for the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
As Trend reports, the head of the Azeri delegation in PACE, Ilham Aliyev stated that the Azeri parliamentarians are going to raise at the session the questions of Karabakh conflict settlement and “infringement of rights of about 1 million Azeri citizens”.
“We think that with this scandalous infringement of rights of million citizens of Azerbaijan the Council of Europe cannot stand aloof”, Ilham Aliyev said.
The parliamentarians of Turkey and Azerbaijan are going to speak at PACE sessions from common positions. Recently, the meeting of Azeri (6 votes) and Turkish (12 votes) delegations in PACE took place in Ankara, at which issues of further coordination of actions were discussed. An achievement is reached on holding joint discussions in Baku or Ankara before each of the PACE sessions. –0–
