YEREVAN, March 27. /Mediamax/. Secretary of the parliamentary faction of the Communist party of Armenia Khoren Sarkisian said today at a press conference in Yerevan that potential American investors, participating in the tender for privatization of distributive power networks of Armenia, laid the terms of selling to them energy generating enterprises as well.
Khoren Sarkisian didn’t bring any facts to confirm his words. He noted that the Communist Party of Armenia is definitely against privatization of strategic objects.
Deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia Arshak Sadoyan expressed confidence today that Sevan-Hrazdan hydrocascade will be sold in less than a year after the privatization of the distributive power networks. This step is comparable with the “sale of independence of Armenia”, Sadoyan said.
Deputy Aramayis Barseghian, representing the People’s party, and member of “Orinats Yerkir” party Gegham Gasparian were common in their opinion that realization of March 28 protest rally in the center of Yerevan is of little effectiveness. The deputies said at this stage only the tender commission can stop the tender. –0–
