RUSSIA HAS MORE POSSIBILITIES TO INFLUENCE THE KARABAKH PEACE PROCESS, VILAYAT GULIYEV SAID

YEREVAN, March 26. /Mediamax/. Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Vilayat Guliyev said that “Russia has its military bases in Armenia and considers it its important ally in the Southern Caucasus, and this, naturally, increases its possibilities in the resolution of the Karabakh conflict”.
As Trend reports, commenting upon the possible negative influence the diplomatic scandal between the U.S. and Russia can have on the Karabakh conflict settlement, Guliyev stressed: “Certain negative influence is possible, for it’s a long time the Karabakh conflict is bearing international character. It is not only a conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, but also a problem infringing on interests of big states. Thus, it’s natural that the opposition between the USA and Russia can to certain extent negatively affect this process”. –0–
