“NATIONAL UNION” IS CONCERNED ABOUT MILITARIST MOOD OF AZERI LEADERSHIP

YEREVAN, March 22. /Mediamax/. Leader of the “National Union” party Artashes Geghamian expressed today at a Yerevan briefing his concern about the militarist mood of Azeri leadership.
According to him, this is more likely caused by weakening of positions of official Baku in the negotiation process on Karabakh conflict. Geghamian is especially worried about the expected military-political alliance between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia.
Commenting upon the upcoming meeting of Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Florida, Artashes Geghamian noted that today the co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group have common positions, and the next stage of Kocharian-Aliyev negotiations may become “the threshold” of the final settlement of the problem. –0–
