YEREVAN, March 21. /Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian met in Washington with the Advisor to the U.S. President on national security Condoleezza Rice. The parties discussed possibilities of expanding bilateral Armenian-American relations, regional security issues, Armenia’s relations with neighboring countries and the recent developments in the Karabakh conflict settlement.
As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, the importance of establishing stability in the Caucasus and the necessity of peace resolution of the Karabakh dispute was stressed at the meeting.
On March 20 Vardan Oskanian met with the U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell. –0–
