YEREVAN, March 19. /Mediamax/. The son of the President of Azerbaijan, deputy chairman of ruling party “New Azerbaijan” and vice-president of the State oil company of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev gave an interview today to the Russian “Expert” journal, during which he sharply criticized Armenia.
According to him, the dragging out or freezing of the Karabakh conflict “leads to the total economic collapse of Armenia”.
“Today, the population is decreasing in Armenia, the political situation there is even more critical. Terrorism is prospering in Armenia – what happened in their parliament clearly demonstrates this”, Ilham Aliyev said.
The son of Azeri president stated that after 5-6 years Azerbaijan would become a prospering country. “While Armenia, in essence, is not an independent state, as it depends on the assistance of the countries which have influence on it”, Ilham Aliyev said. –0–
