SPEAKER OF THE PARLIAMENT OF CYPRUS IS NAMED A “GOOD FRIEND OF THE ARMENIAN PEOPLE”

YEREVAN, March 16. /Mediamax/. Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Armen Khachatrian named today the chairman of the House of Representatives of Cyprus Spiros Kiprianu, who arrived in Yerevan on March 15, a “good friend of the Armenian people”.
Speaker Khachatrian said that Kiprianu was the first to speak in the UN about the necessity to recognize the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
Spiros Kiprianu proposed to set up special Armenian-Cypriot coordination commissions, which, according to him, will allow to examine minutely all the spheres for the realization of bilateral cooperation. –0–
