YEREVAN, March 15. /Mediamax/. Director of the Federal Frontier Service of Russia, Colonel-General Konstantin Totsky, who arrived Wednesday in Armenia for a working visit, will inspect today Artashat frontier detachment, which protects the Armenian-Turkish border.
At the meeting with the President of Armenia Robert Kocharian, held Wednesday evening, Konstantin Totsky highly commended the cooperation between the frontier departments of the two countries. “Russian frontier guards feel comfortable in Armenia”, said the director of FFS of Russia. This, according to him, is a result of the friendly attitude of the population and effective cooperation with the authorities of Armenia. Konstantin Totsky told the Armenian President that FFS isn’t going to cut down its military presence on the territory of Armenia. –0–
