SUPREME COURT CHAMBER OF NKR GETS ACQUAINTED WITH THE MATERIALS OF THE CASE OF THE TERRORIST ACT AGAINST NKR PRESIDENT

YEREVAN, March 13. /Mediamax/. All the five appeals, which were submitted to the Supreme Court of NKR by the lawyers of Samvel Babayan, Sasun Aghajanian, Levon Mirzoyan, Eric Faramazian and Garnik Tsaturian, sentenced to various terms of imprisonment on the case of the March 22, 2000 terrorist act against NKR President, were introduced today to the Supreme Court Chamber of NKR for consideration, Judge Suren Alexanian, presiding over the process, told the correspondent of Mediamax. Alexanian said the Court Chamber staff is already getting acquainted with the materials of the case and is to deliver the decision concerning the validity of the sentence on March 29.
Judge Alexanian said that the accused will also get the copies of the sentence text.
There were 16 people in total involved in this case. David Gulian, sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment, didn’t appeal against the decision of the court. –0–
