ARMENIAN PRESIDENT RECEIVED THE HEAD OF UNION OF ARMENIANS OF RUSSIA

YEREVAN, March 5. /Mediamax/. President of Armenia Robert Kocharian received on 3 March the chairman of the Union of Armenians of Russia, famous businessman Ara Abrahamian, Mediamax was informed in the press office of the president.
President Kocharian said he positively assessed the activity of the Union and noted that he was ready to render any support to its work and programs.
In his turn, Abrahamian said that the Union of Armenians of Russia has a large-scale program on drawing Russian investments into Armenia and on developing bilateral economic cooperation.
As Abrahamian noted, the Union strives to assist the economic development of Armenia and the drawing of investments into the republic. On the initiative of the organization, a group of heads of Russian enterprises led by Chief director of the Russian agency of management systems Vladimir Simonov will visit Yerevan.
During their trip the Russian businessmen will visit the leading enterprises of Armenia, will meet with the directors of enterprises and hold talks with Armenian Premier Andranik Margarian and the ministers of defense, industry and trade. –0–
