PRESIDENTS OF ARMENIA AND UKRAINE SIGN SEVERAL BILATERAL DOCUMENTS

YEREVAN, March 2. /Mediamax/. Armenian President Robert Kocharian and the Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma signed on March 1 the Agreement on economic cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Ukraine for 2001-2010, Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Ukrainian embassy in Armenia.
The Ukrainian and Armenian Presidents signed also the joint statement on main principles and directions of further development of Armenian-Ukrainian relations on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Within the framework of the visit a number of bilateral documents are signed: Agreement on conveying people, sentenced to imprisonment, for their further serving of the sentence; Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of preventing emergency situations and eliminating their consequences; Agreement on mutual recognition of education certificates and academic degrees. The State tax department of the Ukraine and the Ministry for State incomes of Armenia signed also Memorandum on mutual assistance.
