ARMENIA MUST DICTATE ITS CONDITIONS IN THE KARABAKH SETTLEMENT PROCESS, LEADER OF “UNITY” FACTION SAID

YEREVAN, February 22. /Mediamax/. Leader of “Unity” parliamentary faction, Galust Sahakian said today that there are proposals in the Karabakh peace process on which Armenia must insist and dictate its conditions.
The leader of “Unity” faction, which has the majority in the National Assembly of Armenia, said that the final project of Karabakh dispute resolution must be approved by the people of Armenia by a national referendum.
According to Sahakian, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic must get a status of statehood. Any other variant of settlement may bring to a rise of domestic political tenseness in the country, Armenian MP noted. –0–
